Dar Al-Shariah

Dar Al-Shariah, established in 1993 at Bangalore under the aegis of Furqania Academy Trust, is a research facitlity for scholars to carry out research on different aspects of the Shariah in the light of the modern science in order that the rational nature of the Islamic law and its tremendous potential in solving the present-day vexed socio-economic problems is established.  The effort shall go a long way in placing the various distorted Islamic laws in the right perspective thereby setting at rest the misgivings and misconceptions delibrately created by the orientalists and being sustained by certain fissiparious elements in today's body politic.

Aims & Objectives

• Establishment of the rational aspect of the Islamic Shariah on the scientific plane.
• Countering the contemporary materialism intellectually.
• Enlightenment of the humanity with the virtues of Islamic law and philosophy.
• Preparation of quality literature on Islam.
• Resolution of the contemporary issues of the Ummah in the light of the Glorious Qur'an and the Holy Traditions through Ijtehad.
• Employment of a team of scholars for research on Shariah issues.
• Composition of a Consultative Committee consisting the cream of both the theological and scientic worlds.
